Firelux fuels are sold in 100% recyclable HDPE jerrycans. HDPE stands for high density polyethylene. HDPE is a plastic that can easily be recycled. It can be melted down to produce new plastic products. You can recognise HDPE jerrycans by this embossed symbol:
With Firelux Clear and Firelux Plus, this symbol is on the underside of the jerrycan. Your empty Firelux jerrycan is best disposed of in accordance with your local authority’s guidelines for separation of plastic waste. There is no deposit on the jerrycans.
Safe fuel
Firelux Premium Heating Liquids are extremely safe to use. The fuels have a high flashpoint, which means they are not highly inflammable. Unlike petrol, Firelux Premium Heating Liquids do not have to be stored in a fireproof space, and they can be transported in complete safety. Firelux jerrycans are fitted with childproof caps.
